Assisting Hands at the Personal Safety for Seniors Event in Schaumburg
Assisting Hands joined the Schaumburg Police Department for a free presentation that provided personal safety tips to senior citizens. The event was held the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 9 at the Schaumburg Township District Library. As part of the event, community representatives were available to offer valuable information about personal safety, and members of the Schaumburg Police Department provided tips to help improve senior citizens’ security awareness. Refreshments and raffle prizes were also be offered. Caregivers and family members of senior citizens attended the event.
