This month’s April caregiver of the Month for the Schaumburg area is Evelyn Oppenheimer. Evelyn became a caregiver when she realized she liked more hands-on experience with the clients as she used to work with medications as a chemist. After 9 years, she found a love and satisfaction for helping others.
About Evelyn
Evelyn has a chemistry degree from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in Puerto Rico. She is bilingual and finds this to be extra helpful with communication in the health care field. In her free time, she loves to play with her toy poodle, go on walks, read, and shopping. Some of her professional goals for her future is to continue helping others, learn from other caregivers to grow professionally and be happy.
